Case Options Window

In order to track vitals and anesthetic information during a surgery, you must specify the form used to capture the patient’s height and weight in order to calculate the patient’s BMI. This form is used for all cases and case types.

The Case Options window allows you to specify the form used to calculate the patient's BMI prior to surgery.

Field Description
Form (data is entered)

A text field that indicates the Form Code of the form that tracks the patient's BMI information.

Note: This form is used for all cases and case types.

Weight question (kg)

A text field that indicates the Reference Code of the question on the form that tracks the patient's weight (in kg).
Height unit

A drop-down list that indicates which unit of measurement to use for the patient's height:

  • cm
  • Inches
  • Feet + Inches
Height question A text field that indicates the Reference Code of the question on the form that tracks the patient's height (in the unit specified in Height unit).
